If you are an ambitious growth minded small business owner doing multiple six and seven figures in annual revenue and you don’t have cash flow visibility, planning ready to scale to the next level, you are in the right place.

I’m Shishir Khadka, the UK’s leading cash flow specialist. With over two decades of experience helping businesses reach £53.8m in annual revenue, I’ve shared my expertise on platforms like Float App, Zoho, and Independent.

I am a professionally qualified Chartered Certified Accountant turned cash flow expert.   I serve my clients through Hungry Cash Flow Ltd using my proprietary cash flow maximization software, Hungry Cash Flow, implementing my proprietary process, The M.A.P. Method, of controlling cash flow. This is what I do, all day every day for a living.

So don’t worry, you are in safe hands.

Clients often face cash flow challenges like seasonality or needing funds for expansion.

For instance, I helped a luxury goods retailer overcome such obstacles to reach £9.8m in annual revenue and open a second location.

Similarly, I worked with a Southampton dentist, Dr. Pritesh Bhatt, to improve cash flow, financing practice renovations that boosted patient income by 27% within 4.5 months and propelled them past the seven-figure revenue mark.

Here’s what he said

What does a cash flow consultant do?

A cash flow consultant is a cash flow specialist, who helps the business owner to manage cash flow, identify cash flow gaps, measure metrics and generate excess cash to fuel business growth.

From my experience as a cash flow consultant, we do not engage with accounts filing, tax returns, VAT , payroll. We are strickly focused on engineering business growth through strong cash flow foundation.

Why Hire Cash flow Consultants?

Extra Pair of Eyes

You may be to busy working IN your business, rather than ON your business not able to see the big picture. An extra pair of eyes usually reveals insights you might be missing. You can’t solve a cash flow problem, if you don’t know the problem in the first place.

This is even more important when you want to mitigate financial risks.
One of my friends lost his £4m ecommerce business, he made few big cash flow mistakes and he didn’t have someone as an extra pair of eyes to guide his company in the right direction.

Expertise and Specialized Knowledge

You are working with a subject expert who has specialised knoweldge, experience. It’s a bit like going to a surgeon instead of a general doctor for medical treatment

Time Saved

Rather than you or your accountant/bookkeeper gets involved looking after cash flow, from my experience working as an accountant and also a cash flow expert capacity, it saves you the most valuable commodity- time . This is because cash flow expert are used to dealing with cash flows on a day to day basis and so they have different pre designed cash flow templates by sectors  and use cash flow focused softwares like Hungry Cash Flow, Agicap to streamline and systemize the process.

Costs Savings

From what I have seen, it is generally cheaper to hire a cash flow consultant than have someone work extra hours as due to payroll , NI and benefit costs.

Not only this, as a seven figure business owner, your time is valuable.

It reminds me of my dental practice client who owns two dental practices around Gatwick area. He said, he spends like four hours a month, to figure out current cash flow position.

I told him, in these four hours you could fit in tow dental implants paying you £,2500. Wouldn’t it make sense to hire a cash flow consultant for less than a salary of a dental nurse?

Find Bookkeeping and accounting inefficiencies

From my experience working with my clients, when I take on the client and review their bookkeeping, we often find inaccuracies. I use Hungry Cash Flow maximisation software which connects with QuickBooks online and Xero accounting softwares. While reviewing cash flow statements, I often find transactions are posted to wrong nominal accounts or not consistent.

Fixing these issues means you have an accurate financial data you can rely on prepare management accounts as well as financial accounts . Normally when the data is clean, it will costs you less to prepare annual accounts and tax returns, too.

When to Consider Hiring a Cash Flow Consultant ?

If any of these situations sound familiar, a cash flow consultant might be the solution:

  • You struggle with inconsistent cash flow and income/expense fluctuations.
  • You’re targeting significant growth or expansion that requires strategic financial planning.
  • You want to boost profitability by identifying areas to save or increase revenue.
  • You’re facing financial hurdles or need to restructure debt.
